“BBB is my motivation to not give up and and have trust in myself. Easier said than done, of course, but hearing how Jessica grew her business with similar challenges, why not learn from those before me vs. "reinventing the wheel." I am a designer but I need help on the business side, and why I wanted to learn more about BBB.”

“I've invested in several florist courses and spent thousands of dollars on online education, but nothing has brought more value to my young business in such a short amount of time than Jessica Zimmerman's The Business Behind the Blooms. In the course, she taught me step-by-step the most effective ways to communicate with clients that get RESULTS! Jessica's writing was both personal and professional, making it an easy read and completely relatable. It helped me evaluate what I really want my business to look like and how I can actually achieve it. I booked what I would call my "dream wedding" in less than a year being in business because of Jessica's course. I'm now attracting and booking the RIGHT clients and getting paid for the quality of work I do. The value in the course and her continuing education is priceless. I'm forever grateful to Jessica for putting this course together and for being an incredible mentor to me!”

“Can I just say how very thankful I am to have discovered you last fall?! I missed the cut off for BBB then and told myself I would not miss it in the spring. I got on that wait list and purchased it the first day I could. Seriously, you have given me the courage I needed to boost my business. This is my second full year in business and I can already see a jump in my sales average. I'm not under pricing anymore for fear of losing a client to someone more known. I am confident enough now in my abilities to charge what I should have been the whole time. I just booked my first wedding over $4000. Thank you!!”

“BBB has completely changed my business and my life. I never thought I would book anything over $2,000 and now I’m averaging $8,000! I am so grateful that Jessica shares with us exactly what she does and what makes money. After implementing everything she shares in BBB, I’m making money now too! I believe people are put in our lives for a reason, and I am so grateful I was able to find Jessica, purchase her memoir, and actually become profitable. It feels so good to be able to bring home a paycheck and help support my Family.”

“In a wedding industry where workshops, courses, and "how-tos" were everywhere, The Business Behind the Blooms stood out as being more than a way for the owner to make income in their off-season. It was a tell-all of how Jessica Zimmerman took a financially dying business and made it an incredibly profitable business to allow her to live a life she loves. I always knew I wanted to own my own business, and Jessica's heart to have a real profitable company that allowed her to be there in the lives of her family hit home with me. This course was my first investment in myself before I started my business. It has literally helped me every step along the way, from creating my website, to mapping out my sales process, to leading my first bridal consultation, to my first wedding and now 10 months in I still refer to it on a weekly bases. The Business Behind the Blooms helps you lay a foundation that's strong and durable for your business. In a world where starting a business may just seem like making a website and an instagram account, it's much more. The Business Behind the Blooms takes Jessica Zimmerman's trials and teaches others how to avoid making the same mistakes. A strong infrastructure and foundation is crucial to build a floral business that does not take over your entire life or simply die out financially. The Business Behind the Blooms is the resource to invest in for wedding planners and florists in every stage of their business.”

“I've been in the flower business for 11 years. Mostly, I'm a flower grower and I added designing 4 years ago. When it comes to floral design, I've paid for and taken lots of on-line education from leading designers to better understand design, how to properly price and present quotes, and grow the design side of my flower farm. When it came to the business side of flowers, none of them gave me the processes & procedures. None of them gave the language and confidence. None of them gave me specific, actionable steps that actually grows a business. I was skeptical about BBB...is this really going to be worth it and give me what the others did not? But as I move into my season, having implemented and digested all that was presented, I find myself using what I have learned and being confident about my choices. BBB will probably be the one course that was the clincher to my overall success...and it was the one course I was most skeptical to buy. Go figure. The Business Behind the Blooms took off years of errors and put me on the right track. That means everything to my success as a floral business.”

“BBB has been able to not only teach me some solid business practices to help my baby business get stronger, but the thing I truly love is that Jessica thinks outside of the box and is not afraid to not follow the main stream. I have had several thoughts on how I want to run my business and wasn’t sure I had a clue what I was thinking was right until I heard a Jessica say something similar. I love the freedom she encourages us Bloomers to have in just being ourselves.”

“BBB is my business Bible, this course has changed my life and the way I do business. Four days after my purchase, I got my first 1st wedding and booked it!!!!! I made back the entire purchase cost of BBB. I was a new florist looking for someone to teach me the business of it all. It’s one thing to create, but another to know the business of it all. The Zimmerman Team has put something together so special and I am forever grateful. You guys have truly blessed my business with BBB. Thank you!”

“I am a new bloomer, but I have been following Jessica through her webinars since last year. I learned so much from just her free webinars and it changed my business drastically. I connected with Jessica's story instantly, I'm a self taught florist who really just wants to own my own business. :) I knew I wanted to take the leap and purchase BBB this year because I am really trying to break into the higher end clients in my community, and become known outside of my community as well. I had so much success with her free information I knew purchasing the course would be worth it. It is already making me feel so confident in my processes and to me that is worth any price. I completely relate to Jessica's non-traditional processes, and that has given me so much hope that what I have been doing isn't crazy.”

“Growth. Not only BBB, but so many other aspects of Zimmerman's educational arm. Last fall when I first became aware of Jessica and Business Behind the Blooms, it was a little too soon in my entrepreneurial journey to make the full leap, but between then and now, I made time for every free webinar and implemented every system and bit of wisdom she advised. It took only a matter of months with Jessica's help to leave BOTH my part-time jobs and make my side hustle/passion, a full-on career. AND be in a position to invest in BBB. Now, as an official Bloomer, I have all of the tools - and as a result, the confidence - to continue to build a business that stands out, that is different from the rest. It rarely is or will be easy, but having Jessica and team Zimmerman in my corner is beyond the best support a boss babe could ask for!”

“I had been in business for over 5 years, and felt kind of discouraged...like everyone around me was successful, except for me. ...Like every other wedding floral business was booking great events with their ideal clients, and I was just over here taking anything I could get. When I first found out about The Business Behind the Blooms, my immediate reaction was "I can't afford this". After some serious reflection on my businesses future, I concluded that "I can't afford NOT to do this." Within a week of purchasing and reading BBB, I booked my biggest wedding of the year. I just finished that wedding yesterday with excellence, and for the first time ever, I have a strategy on how to book and achieve more larger weddings with my ideal client. And for the first time in about 3 years, I'm truly looking forward to my future in the wedding industry. I am proud to say that I have taken control of how I run my business, my meetings, my calendar, my events...and it shows! Thank you Jessica and the Zimmerman team for pouring your heart and soul into BBB.... for businesses like mine.”

“The Business Behind the Blooms was a game changer for me professionally and personally. Flowers have always come naturally to me, but BUSINESS does not! I’ve always been a dreamer and a creative, so when I had my son last year I began to think of ways to stay at home with him as much as possible but also somehow make money doing something that I loved. My husband works full time and is in school full time for ministry, so it’s not very feasible for us to pay the bills based on his income alone! I’ve always been interested in growing flowers (huge Floret fan here!), but quickly realized that it’s not a very feasible option while having a young child right now and that’s when I came upon floral design. I soon learned that just because you have all the floral knowledge in the world doesn’t mean that you can run a successful floral business. There’s actually a BUSINESS to it. Without the business side, I would never be able to provide financial support for my family. The Business Behind the Blooms was a huge revelation for me! A business is a business. I shouldn’t be answering calls and emails at all times of the day, or doing high end jobs with a low budget. That’s not fair to my business or my family. I’m now putting The Business Behind the Blooms into practice and starting to build my company within these principals. I’ve already seen huge progress in my business in the short weeks since receiving the course. My clients have a more professional view of me. I’m able to sell 100x’s better. And most importantly, my family receives my full attention when I’m home. The Business Behind the Blooms is truly one big sigh of relief for my family and I!”

“The Business Behind the Blooms was a real leap of faith for me. I’m a wedding planner and venue manger, still only dreaming about adding floral design to my offerings, so the thought of making a large investment on a floral business course was scary! Despite these fears I kept showing up to Jessica’s webinars and every time she would pump me up and motivate me. The final push was the Jay Z Instagram Live. She spoke of a growth mindset and an overall “just do it” point of view that made me say “I’m in”. I’ve had the desire to work with flowers for a long time and knew I needed to decide once and for all if this was a direction I was going to take. Ultimately, I decided to use BBB to assist in making this decision. I honestly feel that even if I decide not to pursue floral design so much of Jessica’s story and course can translate to other aspects of the wedding industry. Setting boundaries, building teams and charging your worth are crucial in wedding planning as well. I read the course in almost one sitting and loved every bit of it. I’m basically obsessed with Jessica’s style of writing and her overall vibe. Throughout the course and also in the webinars she is funny, straight shooting and incredibly relatable. She is 100% the reason I purchased the course. I trust her point of view. I’m excited to continue exploring my desire to add floral design to my skill set and I look forward to what the future has in store for my business.”

“I have been a wedding planner for 6 years and have been wanting to add florals to my services for about a year and a half.
I cannot tell you how much I have learned already and I am barely through chapter 6! BBB has been an eye opener to me in so many ways. The business side of the industry has so many unknowns and BBB breaks it down for you. I finally took the plunge and purchased BBB a few weeks ago and I have already booked 3 weddings that include florals! It means the world that Jessica and her team have invested so much to educate others and be REAL! If I was to go to another florist in my city there is no way they would be open in sharing the things that Jessica has. In addition to BBB I have invested in hands on floral experience as well! I recently returned home from Seattle after completing a workshop with Sinclair and Moore that really opened my eyes to the floral side of things and of course I am more in love now with flowers than before, BUT learning color theory and getting hands on experience can only get you so far. You need to know the business and thanks to BBB I am able to learn that side as well. I am a busy mom of two little girls, 4 and 6, planning 10-12 high end weddings each year. My ultimate goal is to hire a small, but mighty team, just as Jessica has so I can focus on more of the floral and creative side to things. In addition cut the number of weddings down to around 8-10!”

“Earlier this year, I watched Netflix's reboot of "Queer Eye" at the recommendation of one of my brides. I then became kind of evangelistic about the show. Take a strong team of five people who know who they are and know what they're not, and have them speak truth and share experiential wisdom with people who are at critical points in their lives. As a result, we see whole-self change. Their appearance, eating habits, relationships, self-confidence, all change. One of the few things things my husband, family, and friends have heard me talk about more than Queer Eye is BBB. (This is hyperbole for dramatic effect. I actually talk about a lot of stuff more than Queer Eye. But I do talk about BBB almost daily). While BBB doesn't offer five well-dressed, multi-ethnic gay men, it has pretty all the other markings of the hit makeover show. Through BBB, a woman who knows who she is and what she isn't, spoke into my life at a critical point and was able to help transform it at every level. Before BBB I was a glorified hobbyist taking weddings I didn't want only to loose money making a perfect version of something I didn't like, missing out on time with my new baby and best husband. Now, I set firm boundaries with my time, my energy, and my budgets. I only take weddings that are profitable and creatively energizing. I'm the master of my money, and I tell it where to go and what to do. Instead of drowning in emails, I get to employ other women who need side jobs. I have systems. I'm getting more inquiries and turning down more weddings with confidence. The only thing I don't have boundaries on is BBB. I let what I've learned influence all areas of my life. My business has had a head to toe makeover. And through the tools I learned in BBB, it is continually made over, assessed, and tweaked. Nothing really compares to the feeling of becoming the business owner, floral designer, mother, wife, woman, that you were made to be. There are a lot of reasons why I'm becoming that woman, but BBB is a big one.”

“I’ve been in business since 2013. My business came about in a unique way—I had been working as an employee at a very large, corporate wedding venue in my area as their Floral Director...in charge of floral sales for events, design, a retail store on-site, etc. in 2012 when my wife and I decided to start a family, I knew that my corporate job would be too much for our new lifestyle. I became stressed, more so than ever in my life...it affected everything—and generally, I am not a stressful person! I couldn’t get pregnant (we did many IUI’s), I was working 60 hours a week...in January of 2013 I left that job and decided to do event work from my home and start from scratch with no booked events. By March that same corporate venue had asked me to sub-contract for their event flowers only, and I agreed. In the beginning, it was access to instant cash flow for everything—I don’t think I borrowed anything to get all the infrastructure a girl could need. But now, the financial relationship is waring on me—still today, about 75% of my revenue comes from this one venue who gets a cut of it. 60 or 70 weddings a year later, I still work 60 hours a week, my average sale is stagnant at about 3K, and I can’t get off the hamster wheel because if I do, I loose that 75% of my income immediately. My business is as of today at a big turning point. I can no longer deal with the contractor relationship I have with this venue—it takes over my entire ability to sell flowers to any other bride at any other venue, and my brand visually is diluted because of it. My family is planning to move to find a better school system for our adopted son (who is now 4), perhaps out of my current service area. And to top it off, in January (just before I bought your course), I was issued a cease and desist on my trade name—I am complying and changing it. I feel like this is a sign!! It’s time for a shift in my business, so with the help of your story, that is exactly what I’m doing! I am SO happy to read about your rebrand and how you built everything from that one moment. I’ve read about 2/3 of your story so far, and I already know I’ll return to read it over and over again as I begin down my new path. My new trade name has been approved, I’m professionally building my website (paying for it for the first time) and I’m excited to take all the good from Ivy and Aster Floral design and leave the rest behind. My new name is The Fuchsia Peony—nothing is live online yet, but I did start a Facebook page recently...you should check it out :-). My plan is to start the online transition May 1st as I need to be out of my original name by June 1st. Thanks for being exactly the inspiration I needed at exactly the right moment <3”

“Business Behind the Blooms was life changing, not only on a practical business level but also on a personal one. I would consider myself quite an introvert and as much as I loved flowers, I was terrified about meeting with clients. After reading BBB, I gained so much confidence that I could do this and I jumped all in. If that was all I got from BBB, that in itself would have been worth the cost but that was only the beginning of what I gained from it. That confidence has naturally flowed into the rest of my life as well and I couldn't be more grateful for that. I have worked in the wedding industry for years but I just booked my first client under my own business name. She is my ideal client and that is because of the tips I learned from BBB. I really believe that to some degree, Jessica has given Bloomers the opportunity for her ceiling to become their floor. I could not be more grateful to get to start my business with this kind of wisdom and this kind of confidence.”

“Jessica is a big sister, a mentor and a dreamer. She takes the hardships of a business that so many business owners face and turns them into her own little challenge. A challenge to find an easier way of doing it. An easier way of doing life. If you've ever sat down with Jessica for a mentoring call or for a webinar, you know she's all about productivity and getting home to those babies of hers. She shows you not only how to run a profitable business but how to have a life. Take it from someone who has taken three courses before Jessica's and has watched numerous webinars from other florists, there is no need to spend any of your hard earned cash on anything other than Jessica's course. This course is packed with everything you'll ever need to know to run a successful business and unlike other courses, she's available to you at any time with her convenient mentoring services and her follow-up webinars. Jessica Zimmerman has built a brand that is one of a kind and The Business Behind the Blooms truly reflects this.”

“I can't say thank you enough for being the vessel that literally breathed life back into my new floral and wedding design business. The business savvy alone that you shared and the confidence you instilled in me as a businesswoman was well more than worth the price of the course (which honestly, I now feel is truly priceless), not to mention the wealth of other information that you threw in! Even though I blazed through the book as fast as I could consume it in the first day, I find myself going back to it weekly to continue soaking it all in. I have already seen an increase my profits- at the beginning of this course my minimum order was a measly $400, within 2 months I have been able to up it to $1000 - and I'm continuing to sign more clients with higher floral budgets than ever!
Thank you for your candor, your skills, and all the work that you put into this course. I can truly say that you have refreshed my strength, my spirit, and my bottom line at a time when I was really considering just calling it quits and deeming myself a failure. You not only showed me that it CAN be done, but HOW it can be done. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.”

I was blown away with how much I got out of the information being presented & scrambled to keep watching everything else that was available to me. Being a self taught florist, I connected with what Jess was saying instantly & now consider her my mentor.
